If you use SmartJumper as your access management gateway, you can securely and intuitively access the console ports and management interfaces of your IT devices from a unified web GUI. SmartJumper automatically records access and operation logs, helping you significantly reduce security risks and operational burdens.

Overview

SmartJumper is access management software that functions as a GUI-based jump server, enabling secure and intuitive access to your IT devices. It restricts each user's access to designated devices and automatically saves operation logs and access history. Integration with external tools and SmartCS is also planned to further enhance the convenience of network device management.

Features

Easy Operation

Visual device access via web GUI. Manage all devices in a list with one-click access. No telnet/SSH client required — browser-based terminal emulator included.

Challenges solved:
• Want to simplify device access
• Want to reduce operational burden of in-house tools

Benefits:
• One-click access to any device
• Intuitive GUI — no specialized skills required

Security

Automatically records all access and operation logs. Track who, when, where, and what — every time. User-device mapping prevents unauthorized access before it occurs.

Challenges solved:
• Want to eliminate missed operation logs
• Want complete, gap-free access history

Benefits:
• All operations reliably logged automatically
• User-device mapping blocks accidental or unauthorized access

Linkage

Integrates with your existing authentication servers and log management tools. Works alongside SmartCS for unified device management — with more integrations rolling out incrementally.

Challenges solved:
• Want to connect with existing systems and tools
• Want unified management with SmartCS

Benefits:
• Supports external authentication and log management integration
• SmartCS integration available

License

SmartJumper licensing is based on the total number of IP addresses (IP nodes) of the managed devices, with three license tiers available. Licenses are offered on an annual subscription basis. A trial license is also available for pre-deployment evaluation.

License Type IP Nodes Duration Recommended for
Trial 100 90 days Evaluation use
Light 100 1 year Managing SmartCS and connected devices
Standard 500 1 year Managing servers and network devices
Max 10,000 1 year Managing all devices on the network

Licenses other than Trial are valid for the contracted period. Multi-year contracts are available. Software is provided as a container image. Support is included in the license fee.

FAQ

What are the system requirements for SmartJumper? +-
SmartJumper runs on amd64 (x86_64) Linux environments such as Ubuntu. Installation requires approx. 5 GB of disk space, plus additional space for operation logs based on your retention policy. During operation, SmartJumper uses approx. 4 GB of memory (approx. 2 GB for application processes and approx. 2 GB for up to 100 concurrent target sessions), plus memory for the OS. Docker Engine is required as the container runtime.
How do I set up the Docker environment? +-
Please refer to the official Docker documentation, the SmartJumper user manual, and the setup guide available on the SmartJumper technical information page.
What types of devices can SmartJumper manage? +-
SmartJumper can manage any device accessible via Telnet/SSH, including network equipment and servers.
Can SmartJumper be used together with SmartCS? +-
Yes. SmartCS and devices connected to SmartCS can be managed through SmartJumper. For devices sharing the same SmartCS, only one target slot is consumed regardless of the number of connected devices.
Can I restrict which devices each user can access? +-
Yes. By associating users and target devices within an access group, you can grant access rights per user. Devices not associated with a user will not appear in that user's list and cannot be accessed.
Are access logs and operation logs saved? +-
Yes. When accessing a target via SmartJumper, both access logs and operation logs are automatically saved. Operation logs can be downloaded in text or JSON format.
